This breathwork is designed to clear your mind and create a sense of congruency.  When you feel scattered or detached from your intuiton, reach for this technique for clarity. The benefits are: • Awakens the inner sound and dissolves the mind. • Good for singers; Tones the throat muscles and tissues. • Purifies blood, semen, and nerve channels (nadis). Heating effect, reducing the kapha and vata doshas.

Bee Humming Breath

This breathing technique is called Fire Wash also known as Agnisara Dhauti.  If you have ulcers or had ulcers in the past--this is NOT for you.  If you are past  your first trimester of pregnancy this is NOT for you. The benefits are: • Strengthens uddiyana bandha. • Good for persons who have a lot of stomach aches. • Stimulates manipura chakra (navel center), the seat of the fire element. • Heating effect. Increases pitta and reduces kapha. Stimulates the digestive system. Purifies the abdominal region. Samana prana and digestive fire are stimulated.

Fire Wash Breathing

Ujjayi Pranayama is a breathing technique that can be done in two different ways.  In this video, I will go over both methods.  The benefits are: • Moderately heating. • Reduces kapha and excess kapha symptoms like mucous and congestion. • Reduces vata and excess vata symptoms like anxiety and worry. • Good for relieving emotions.
